HOW TO USE
How to use Eraza®
New & unique safety cap
How the cap works
We've created a special child-resistant safety cap to help you apply the pellets properly and safely.
| 1. | Squeeze the ends of the cap together |
| 2. | Turn the cap anti-clockwise half a turn (180 degrees) until it clicks into place. There is no need to take it off |
| 3. | Hold the bottle cap down and shake to scatter pellets thinly over the soil surface |
| 4. | To close, squeeze ends and turn cap clockwise until it locks |
Correct application
Rate of application
The correct rate of application is just 60 pellets, or 7.5 g of pellets per square metre of ground.
It is very important for safety reasons never to pile pellets into heaps. The very best slug and snail control will be achieved by applying exactly as directed on the label.
Danger of Over-Application
Eraza® Slug and Snail Killer is a registered product, which means that the government have approved the product for sale after reviewing a large amount of scientific data, including information on safety and efficacy. Users of the product must use it exactly as directed on the label.
Note that this product contains metaldehyde which can kill if eaten. It must be kept away from children and pets.
We go to great lengths to ensure that the product will be really effective but without causing any harm to anything but slugs and snails, including:
| • | Special child-resistant safety and scatter application cap |
| • | Lower application rate than comparable products |
| • | Smaller pellets |
| • | Only half the amount of active ingredient |
| • | Tough plastic packaging |
| • | Clear label advice on correct use and warnings about things to avoid |
| • | Contains special animal repellent |
ERAZA® is setting new standards in slug control, by delivering a high performance slug pellet with low active ingredient technology.
This is because the specialist manufacturing techniques used means that the active ingredient, metaldehyde in ERAZA® is FIVE TIMES more effective*. Each pellet contains many smaller particles of metaldehyde, which not only make it easier for slugs and snails to consume, but also ensures efficacy with low active ingredient.
* It takes 205 micrograms of metaldehyde to kill an average slug with standard pellets compared to a much lower 37 micrograms of the TR3799 metaldehyde* found in the new Eraza® pellets.
